You Are Better Than That

Wow. I cannot make this up. Just as I was about to begin writing this post, I checked my notifications on Youtube to see someone upset because I promoted my exclusive readings on Patreon. This person was claiming that my main channel isn’t even a tarot channel anymore and I’m a fake reader who’s just using my tarot audience to make money or promote my “real” passions. They claimed that I could actually make some revenue if I focus solely on that channel and to not be surprised if my subscriber count goes down. What are the odds that the comment was left literally minutes after I got the idea to sit down and write about this exact thing. 

Recently, in my life, I’ve discovered that there are quite a few people around me who made me feel crazy, told others that I was stand offish and rude, and labeled me a bitch behind my back, all because I knew that they were low vibrational and was choosing to keep my distance. Over time, with me experiencing this pressure, I gave in and began spending more and more time around these people. It was made known to me recently, that the initial suspicions that I had about these people were true, and I was right from the beginning to protect my energy from them. However, this is not about them. Despite the betrayal and lies involved, this experience actually made me feel so empowered within who I am. 

For one, it validated the intuitive nudges that I had been receiving, yet choosing to ignore because I didn’t have physical supporting evidence. It also reminded me to see people’s polarizing reactions to me as confirmation of my power rather than a dismissal of it. In both situations that I just shared, the people involved wanted to make me feel small, insignificant, and weak. In the past, I would have fallen for those tactics. Now, I know that if I didn’t have a huge, powerful, and strong aura and presence, they wouldn't have felt the need to try and humble me in the first place. 

Not only have I been experiencing these types of energies in my personal life, I’ve also been having these same messages come up in a lot of the readings that I’ve been doing. Therefore, I feel like this is an energy that’s bigger than me and that multiple of us within the collective are feeling. Therefore, I wanted to just share this quick post as a reminder to never let anyone trick you out of your spot. The reason that people want to try and keep you in a box and prevent you from evolving and taking up space is because your expansion reminds them of how they have chosen to be stagnant or even regressive in their own lives. It’s ultimately just a projection of how they feel about themselves. 

With this year being the year of the fire horse, as well as us having the outer planets moving into the signs of Aries, Aquarius, Leo, and Gemini, this is the year where our confidence will be tested as we step further into the light of our authenticity. At the same time that we are being called to step into a higher version of ourselves, we can also experience more eyes on us, and therefore more negative projections. When faced with these, be sure to remind yourself of who you are and stand in your power. If the spot that you’re currently in wasn’t one of high value, no one would care to try and get the seat for themselves. With that being said, stay confident. Stay grounded and stand firm in who you are at all times!
